In a blender, mix together until smooth 2 cups of beef broth, 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 15 ounces of fresh or canned tomato sauce, 3 tablespoons of chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1 garlic clove, 1/2 teaspoon of red wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Pour the sauce into a medium saucepan and heat over medium-high, stirring frequently. Lower the heat to a simmer and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes.
